Is there available housing during Reunion Weekend for alumni?
Yes! University housing is available during Reunion Weekend for alumni. Members of the 50 Year and Emeritus Classes receive complimentary housing. Other alumni can receive housing for a small fee. The form to complete for housing is located in the Reunion Booklet, and all fees are listed on the form.
Can tickets be purchased online and at the sites during Reunion Weekend for the Alumni Picnic and the Alumni Banquet?
Yes! A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase online and on-site during Reunion Weekend. Tickets for the 2017 Reunion Picnic and Banquet will be on sale Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Student Center Ballroom from 9:00AM until 5:00PM (while supplies last). The Reunion Picnic tickets will be available for purchase at the Alumni Picnic Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 9:00AM until 2:00PM. No tickets will be sold for the Reunion Banquet after 5:00PM on Friday, May 12, 2017. Banquet tickets will not be sold on Saturday. When and where can I pick up my pre-paid tickets for the picnic and banquet?
The pre-paid picnic and banquet tickets can be picked up at the Student Center Ballroom on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 9:00AM until 5:00PM, and at the Registration Booth at the Cafeteria Waterfront from 9:00AM until 2:00PM on Saturday, May 13, 2017.
What are the hours and the location for the Alumni Picnic?
The Picnic hours are 12:00PM until 2:00PM on the water front lawn of the cafeteria.
What are the hours for the Reunion Banquet?
The hours for the banquet are 7:00PM until 9:30PM. Dinner will not be served after 8:30PM.
When and where can the rented Academic Regalia be picked up for the 50 Year and Emeritus Classes?
The regalia for the 50 Year and Emeritus Classes can be picked up at McGrew Towers Conference Center on Sunday, May 14, 2017 from 7:30AM until 8:00AM in the lobby. Regalia will be available only for those persons who rented their reserved regalia from Jostens. Bus transportation will be provided from McGrew Towers for the 50 Year and Emeritus Classes to Commencement and will return to McGrew Towers after the Commencement Exercises are over. Regalia should be turned in at the lobby of McGrew Towers immediately after Commencement.
Where can I register with my class for Reunion Weekend?
You can register with your class at the Student Center Ballroom on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 9:00AM until 5:00PM, and on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 10:00AM until 2:00PM at the Alumni Reunion Picnic.
Can I still donate money to Hampton for my class during Reunion Weekend?
Yes! You can donate money for your class during the reunion weekend. You can make the donation online (24 hours a day) https://secure.hamptonu.edu/development/, or at the Student Center Ballroom Friday, May 12, 2017 from 9:00AM until 5:00PM, or with your class leader or the Alumni Affairs Gifts Records Coordinator on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Reunion Picnic from 10:00am to 2:00 PM. All donations to be counted in the Reunion Banquet Check Presentation must be finalized by 6pm on Saturday, May 13, 2017. Donation made after the cut-off through June 30, 2017 will still count toward your class reunion year gift, however, it will not be included in the reunion presentation.
