It is our goal, in the Office of Alumni Affairs, to encourage and foster lifelong alumni participation, involvement, and commitment. We strive to strengthen the bond between the University and our alumni; to create programs which match the interests and needs of the alumni; to maintain and build upon the positive relationships we have with our more seasoned alumni; to increase the participation, involvement, and communication with our young alumni; and to continue to serve as the primary communications link between the University and it’s alumni.

The Hampton University Office of Alumni Affairs will seek to enhance services offered to alumni, and to increase the number of alumni using those services.
Service to the University
The Hampton University Office of Alumni Affairs aims to support the University's mission of teaching, research, and service, advocating for the University, communicating University achievements and issues, and increasing overall financial support of these endeavors.
The Hampton University Office of Alumni Affairs will work to evaluate its structure, programs, and services to promote inclusiveness of all while perpetuating and building on their individual experiences.
To increase the number of alumni, parents, and friends who take an active role in the life of the University, the Office of Alumni Affairs will work to increase participation through volunteerism and charitable giving.
